I love going to all-vegan restaurants and I love London. Every time I’m in London I see a show at the West End and find myself going for vegan food in Soho. If you’re anything like me and love exploring new restaurants, then Soho is the perfect place for us vegans!
I’ve compiled a list of all vegan restaurants in Soho London that are sure to satisfy your cravings and keep you coming back for more. From delicious comfort food to creative plant-based dishes, these restaurants have it all. Let’s dive in!
Best Fully Vegan Restaurants in SOHO London
Club Mexicana
Club Mexicana is my favorite vegan restaurant in Soho London. As the name indicates, it’s a restaurant serving Mexican food. You can get the most delicious tacos, nachos, burritos, and even churros with chocolate sauce – all vegan!
I really like their to-fish tacos, a delicious Mexican-British fusion dish. But when you’re really hungry I recommend the burrito, it’s delicious as well and very filling.
Club Mexicana is located inside Kingly Court, which is one of the must-visit places in Soho London. They offer both outdoor and indoor seating. Outside feels like a pleasant food court, while inside has a diner vibe.
The tip is already included on the bill as a service charge! There’s no need to tip on top of that.
Mildreds
Mildreds is probably one of the highest-rated vegan restaurants in London. It offers a range of different cuisines from British to Asian and beyond.
Because of the high ratings, my expectations were high… too high. Don’t get me wrong, the food was delicious although quite pricey and the drinks were good and picturesque but ultimately my expectations were just too high and no restaurant could have lived up to that.
But regardless, it’s still worth checking out, especially for breakfast as it’s the only all-vegan restaurant in London Soho which serves breakfast.
It’s also a great restaurant if you can’t decide on a cuisine as they have different options.
Many people absolutely love Mildreds and name it as an excellent example of why London is one of the best European cities for vegans.
Neat Burger
Neat Burger is the spot for all your vegan fast-food cravings. From burgers and fries to milkshakes, Neat Burger has it all and everything is plant-based!
It’s a great place to grab a quick bite or if you’re in need of some comfort food. But don’t worry, they don’t just have burgers, they also have so-called “super salads” and artisan ciabattas.
If you want to save money on your London trip, it might be worth subscribing to the newsletter of Neat Burger during your trip as they frequently send out discount codes that you can use whether you eat in or take out.
Gauthier Soho
Gauthier Soho is a vegan Michelin star restaurant that offers a vegan-tasting menu. It’s a fine dining experience with an intimate atmosphere, perfect for special occasions or when you just want to treat yourself.
Their plant-based dishes are creative and beautifully presented, making it more than just a meal but also a culinary experience.
You can choose between a small and a big tasting menu. Either way, make sure to book your table online beforehand. You can even opt for a private dining experience and choose between different-sized rooms.
NUTTEA
NUTTEA is technically not a restaurant but it’s an amazing vegan bubble tea shop. It’s located in the heart of Soho and offers a variety of plant-based bubble teas and waffles.
It’s the perfect spot to stop for a quick refreshment while exploring all that Soho has to offer. Plus, their bubble tea flavors are unique and delicious! My favorite one is a classic Earl Grey Nut Mylk Tea.
Every time I’m in Soho, I make sure to stop by NUTTEA for a tasty and refreshing treat. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
I try to include a visit to NUTTEA on each of my London itineraries, because the bubble tea is so delicious.
Jerusalem Falafel
Jerusalem Falafel is a food stall in the Berwick Street Market serving Middle Eastern cuisine. It’s a great place for a quick snack at lunchtime.
I’ll be honest with you, they have some mixed reviews and because of their very limited opening times, I didn’t have the chance to try it out for myself yet.
Best Vegan Restaurants just outside SOHO London
Vantra
Vantra is the best place for healthy plant based food near Soho. It’s located in Chinatown just next to Soho.
They used to have a big buffet, but now they changed to an a la carte menu. On the menu, you can find delicious dishes from all over the world, from Spanish tapas to Indian curries and more.
It’s an amazing place with value for money. The only downside is that it’s located in a cellar, which doesn’t matter at all when you visit in the evening.
Palm Greens
Palm Greens at Arcade is a vegan restaurant inside a kind of food court. You choose a table and when you scan the QR code on. the table you get to choose between different restaurants, one of them is Palm Greens.
Their menu is limited to 3 big salads and a few smaller snacks. When I visited in the afternoon the salad I wanted was already sold out, but in the end, I was very satisfied with the salad I got instead.
It’s the best option if you want to order from an all-vegan restaurant but you’re with friends who don’t want to eat in an all-vegan restaurant.
123V
123V is a vegan restaurant inside the BFI Fitzrovia Mall. They are known for their vegan sushi but they also serve burgers and snacks. At lunchtime, they have a daily changing buffet, in the evening you can get a vegan-tasting menu from Studio Gauthier, a corporation with Gauthier Soho.
I had to try the Sushi set, and even though it was good it couldn’t compete with the amazing vegan sushi I had in Barcelona.
Final Thoughts: Vegan Food in Soho London
Soho is a great area to explore in London and you don’t have to worry about finding vegan food there.
From fast-food cravings at Neat Burger to fine dining at Gauthier Soho, there’s something for every taste and occasion. And if you’re feeling in the mood for a refreshment, don’t forget to check out the vegan bubble tea at NUTTEA.
But if you’re willing to venture just outside of Soho, there are even more amazing vegan restaurants like Vantra and Palm Greens waiting for you. So don’t limit yourself and try out all the delicious plant-based options in and around Soho.
If it isn’t all that important that it’s an all-vegan place you can also get some great Harry Potter-themed vegan afternoon tea in Soho London.
