The mosque-cathedral is truly a remarkable church, unlike any I’ve seen before. As you wander through its maze of columns, you can’t help but feel captivated. In the heart of it all, you stumble upon an impressive church within. It was the highlight of my day trip to Cordoba from Seville.
The Jewish Quarter, or Judería, is another must-see area with its narrow streets lined with white-washed houses and colorful flower-filled patios.
Don’t miss crossing the Roman Bridge, a symbol of Córdoba’s past as a Roman city. From the other side of the bridge, you get the best view of Córdoba.

One of the most stunning among these white villages is Zahara de la Sierra, a hilltop town known for its spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and the blue waters of the nearby reservoir. This is the white village I visited on my day trip from Seville to Ronda.
One highlight of my journey was stopping by the enchanting village of Grazalema, where I was fortunate to witness the village transformed for a medieval festival, completely immersing me in another time and making my visit truly unforgettable.
