Where to Get the Best Vegan Food Novi Sad Has to Offer
Are you looking for places where you can get the best vegan food Novi Sad has to offer? Look no further!
Novi Sad is Serbia’s second biggest city and it’s known for its young and hip vibes. The city has a few all-vegan restaurants which serve the best vegan food Novi Sad has to offer. So, you don’t need to worry about finding vegan food in Novi Sad on a day trip from Belgrade.
You can get vegan options in many places but in this post, we’ll be exploring all-vegan restaurants in Novi Sad, from fast-food joints to raw vegan dessert places.
So, let’s dive in and explore the best vegan restaurants that Novi Sad has to offer!
All-vegan restaurants in Novi Sad
Novi Sad can’t quite compete with the number of vegan restaurants in the country’s capital, Belgrade but the smaller city has plenty of vegan restaurants itself. And I love the younger and hipper atmosphere in Novi Sad compared to Belgrade.
1. Rekalibracija Veganski
Rekalibracija Veganski is an all-vegan fast food place just outside the market. It’s the best place for some quick vegan food Novi Sad has to offer.
They have a selection of burgers and wraps with different kinds of filling. And they also have different smoothie options.
So, it’s a great combination of fast food and a healthy smoothie. But even the burgers are not as unhealthy as at other restaurants. I really liked the almost whole wheat bun and the fresh veggies inside.
2. Plant Power
Plant Power is probably my favourite vegan restaurant Novi Sad has to offer because of its wide selection of vegan dishes.
Unfortunately, Plant Power was the last vegan restaurant I visited, so I was already quite full. That’s why I only had a pizza slice, which by the way is very cool that you can get just one slice of pizza.
3. Ananda
Ananda is the best vegan restaurant Novi Sad has to offer for people who are in the city for a longer period of time since they offer a changing daily menu.
You can order and pay at the counter but they bring the food to your table.

4. Å eÄernema
Å eÄernema is the best place for vegan desserts in Novi Sad. And not just because it’s the only vegan dessert place in Novi Sad. They have delicious raw vegan desserts and a really cute indoor and outdoor seating area.
The desserts are made with fresh and natural ingredients. You can get them for takeaway but I recommend taking a break from your day exploring Novi Sad and enjoying a vegan dessert with a drink.

5. Soya Food
At HappyCow Soya Food is labeled as an all-vegan shop. And it is all vegan but shop might be a bit of an overstatement. It’s basically one refrigerator inside a room.
You can get tofu, plan-milk and vegan spreads in the little shop. I tried a vegan pate made out of sunflower seeds and it was really good.
Final thoughts: Vegan Novi Sad
Novi Sad might not have the most vegan restaurants but I really liked the vegan options in Novi Sad when I visited the city on a day trip from Belgrade.
It’s such a hip and modern city and the vegan food just makes it even better.
