Peninsula Hot Springs Day Trip with Thermal Bathing Entry from Melbourne

What are the Peninsula Hot Springs?
The Peninsula Hot Springs are Victoria’s first natural hot springs and day spa located on the Mornington Peninsula, just 90 minutes from Melbourne. The hot springs offer over 20 thermal mineral bathing experiences, including a cave pool, cold plunge pool, Turkish steam bath, sauna, mineral showers, a reflexology walk and more. You can also get a range of spa treatments, including facials, massages, and body treatments at the Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs.
There’s also a section with private baths at the Spa Dreaming Centre. You have to pay extra to enter this Spa Dreaming Centre but if the so-called general Bath House is too busy it might be worth it. There are no kids allowed at the Spa Dreaming Centre. So the day spa centre is the perfect way to fully relax in a tranquil environment.

My favourite part about the Mornington Peninsula Hot Springs is for one the really warm water, the hottest pool at almost 42°C, and for another that all the hot pools are nestled into nature. Some of the hot pools are surrounded by trees and one hot pool on top of a hill has a 360-degree view of the region. And what’s better than soaking in hot natural thermal mineral waters and enjoying spectacular views at the same time?
There are also lakes where you aren’t allowed to swim but you can sit next to them in a sun lounge and watch the ducks. And you can even walk through the vegetable garden, where fresh produce for the restaurant grows.

Why take a Peninsula Hot Springs Tours?
Taking a Peninsula Hot Springs tour is a better option than driving yourself for several reasons.
Firstly, a tour allows you to sit back and relax while someone else takes care of the driving and navigation, which can be especially beneficial if you’re unfamiliar with the area.
Additionally, tours include a knowledgeable guide who can provide insights and information about the history and culture of the area, making the experience more fulfilling.
A Peninsula Hot Springs tour also includes entry to the thermal hot springs, which can be difficult to obtain during peak times if you’re driving yourself.
Lastly, most Peninsula Hot Springs tours also include additional activities or stops, such as a visit to the beach boxes or a hike along the coastline, which can enhance the overall experience and provide a more comprehensive view of the area.
