3 Absolute Best Spa Hotels in Liverpool City Centre
What better way to relax after exploring the city than staying in one of the best spa hotels Liverpool has to offer?
I’ll be honest with you, there aren’t that many hotels with spa areas in Liverpool and even fewer in the city center. So, the list of the best spa hotels in Liverpool is going to be short and to the point.
There’s no use in listing amazing hotels with wellness areas when they’re just too far out of the city to explore Liverpool properly. And I really recommend staying in the center of Liverpool so you can explore the city on foot.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Municipal Hotel Liverpool – MGallery
✅ Very central location
✅ Inside an iconic building
✅ Luxurious design
✅ Everything’s almost new since the hotel only opened in 2023
Why stay in a spa hotel in Liverpool?
Staying in one of the best spa hotels Liverpool has to offer is the best way to combine sightseeing with relaxation. During the day you can explore Liverpool, walk down the city’s most famous streets and discover the Beatles trail in Liverpool. Afterwards, you can soak in the hotel’s indoor pool and relax.
In all the best spa hotels in Liverpool, you have to pay admittance to be able to enter the spa area. Some hotels have an entrance ticket for the whole day and others just for a certain amount of hours.
Just make sure to read up on the price beforehand so there won’t be any surprises once you get to your hotel.
If you decide to stay in a hotel without a pool, like the famous Jurys Inn Liverpool, you can still spend some time in the spa area of one of the spa hotels. The Titanic Hotel for example offers a slightly more expensive entrance ticket to the wellness area for non-hotel guests.
My Top 3 Picks: Best spa hotels Liverpool

Best spa hotels Liverpool
The Municipal Hotel Liverpool – MGallery is the overall winner of the best Liverpool hotels with Spa because of the amazing location and the luxurious design.
First of all, the building itself is stunning. When I first walked past it I thought it was a museum and not a hotel. And the inside is even better!
If you’re a vegan, like me, you’ll be happy to know that they offer a vegan breakfast option. However, I have to be honest and say it’s not that great. If you’re a true foodie, you might want to check out some of the amazing vegan restaurants in Liverpool instead.
My favourite place for vegan breakfast is The Vibe, they even have vegan poached eggs.
One downside to note is that you do have to pay extra for access to the pool anytime and to the fitness centre during peak times.
But overall, if you’re looking for a luxurious and relaxing spa experience in a beautiful building in the middle of the city center the Municipal Hotel is the best spa hotel Liverpool has to offer.
A gorgeous hotel in the heart of Liverpool, extremely comfortable and plush.

Hope Street Hotel
⭐️ RATING: 8.7/10 | 📍 LOCATION: Hope Street 40 | ✅ Book it!
Hope Street Hotel is the perfect spa hotel in Liverpool if you like modern design. Just looking at the hotel you get a very modern vibe with the big glass front and the wooden door in contrast.
One of my favourite things about this hotel is its wooden floors. A wooden floor is just so much more hygienic since it’s easier to clean.
And if you’re looking to relax, they’ve got you covered with a nice-looking indoor pool and a rooftop terrace with amazing city views. However, I do have to mention that you have to pay extra for access to the pool.
By the way, the Hope Street Hotel is located on Hope Street, which is the only street connecting two cathedrals. So, from the hotel, it’s just a short walk to the famous Liverpool cathedral.
the spa was EXCEPTIONAL. the best spa I’ve ever visited.

The Titanic Hotel Liverpool is a great choice if you’re looking for a hotel with an exceptional wellness area. The hotel has the best spa and pool facilities in Liverpool, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
You can purchase a two-hour pass to access the pool area, which is ideal for a quick dip after a busy day. To fully relax you can also book one of their wellness packages, like a massage or a facial treatment. You can even take a virtual tour of the wellness and gym facilities if you’re still not sure.
It’s worth noting that the hotel is located a bit outside the city centre, but it’s situated in a fascinating area. The hotel is inside a 19th-century warehouse complex on the waterfront.
The hotel also offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea and they provide vegan options upon request.
Overall, if you’re searching for a spa hotel with an outstanding wellness area and don’t mind being a bit further from the city centre, the Titanic Hotel Liverpool is your best option.
This hotel is amazing! The history of the tobacco warehouse conversion of this building is so fascinating. The rooms are very large even by American standards. The rooms and the whole hotel is so elegantly designed and decorated.
